Rajan Rai, Owner.

Raptor Excavating was founded by Rajan Rai. Raj grew up doing top soil deliveries with his grandfather and their old ford dump truck. Raj used to watch his uncles operating excavators and screening top soil. Naturally, this was something he would copy with his tonka toys while growing up. 25 years later nothing much has changed except the tonka’s are a little bigger. Today, Raj and his team are passing on the tradition by keeping Raptor Excavating a business founded by family.

My great great grandfather came to Canada in 1907. I’m so thankful for this, especially that he chose such a beautiful city. There’s so much to see and so many great people to meet..most of the time this happens all from the seat of my dump truck.
